Each time the House Hunters episode is aired, there have been many new viewers who have contacted us about visiting our beautiful beach paradise.   With the Sea of  Cortez, fabulous beaches and pools, fresh seafood and friendly people, many new visitors come to appreciate the value of investing in Mexico.

One Mission and Christs Church of the Valley CCV.

The resorts featured in this episode are Las Palomas, Luna Blanca, and the Sonoran Spa.    The buyers are active volunteers with One Mission, and they have come down several times to Mexico, to help build homes for local families.   This family also belongs to the church, CCV, Christ’s Church of the Valley, with 9 locations throughout Phoenix.   CCV is best known for their vast mission efforts, often reaching beyond Mexico.    It’s wonderful to see new buyers come to our paradise, not only to enjoy the beauty of the area, but to make a positive difference in the community, and to share the word of God with other people.

Las Palomas condo Floorplans

There are two phases at Las Palomas.   Phase I was built in 2005-2007 and features five buildings, Diamante, Topaz, Rubi, Opalo and Cristal.   The Rubi building houses the Registration desk for Phase I, La Maria Restaurant, and HOA offices, as well as a condo tower.    The beachfront buildings are Diamante and Cristal.    The 1 br condos are 900 square feet and feature a large master bedroom, open kitchen, dining area, and living room, full bath with either a tub or shower,  as well as a separate laundry room and owners lockoff closet.

There are a couple different 2 BR floorplans in phase I.   The 2A plan, 1270 sq ft, features one oceanview master br, and the second bedroom in the back; large open kitchen, dining area, living area and 2 baths, and separate laundry room and owners lockoff.    The 2B floorplan, 1350 sq ft, has both bedroom up front with ocean views.    The third type is a 2B+, 1485 + – sq ft, which can be a 3 BR depending on the location.   Some of the bonus rooms are large enough to be an actual bedroom, others are only a small bunk room.

The 3A, 1920 sq ft,  in phase I is a 3BR, 3Ba with a huge open kitchen with tons of storage, wrap around balcony, master bedroom up front with oceanviews and 2 other large bedrooms.

Phase II  1 Brs are 1140 sq ft and offer a bit more space for either a murphy bed or a bar next to the dining area.   With a large open kitchen and counter seating, and dining area there is ample dining space.   The living area looks out onto the balcony, bedroom is in the back.

There are also a couple of different 2Br plans in Phase II.   The 2D, 1450 sq ft, features an oceanfront master br, large kitchen, dining area, and living area up front.  The 2E, 1620 sq ft also has the master br up front, but features a wider plan with dining and living areas both facing the balcony and oceanviews.

The 2F plan in Phase II is actually a 3BR, 2Ba, only found in the oceanfront Coronado building.   The 3C is a 3BR, 3 Ba, with a split br floorplan and a huge open kitchen, and two balconies, one is off the kitchen facing the back.    This 3C plan is only found in Cabrillo and Cortez buildings.   The 3D Suprema is a lage 3650 sq ft beauty, with large wrap around balcony and is sound on the oceanfront Coronado and Cordoba buildings.

All of the condos are Las Palomas have ocean views of the Sea of Cortez as well as the beautifully landscaped grounds and pools at Las Palomas.   Both phases contain a lazy river, swimup pool bars & restaurants, infinity pools, hot tubs, and shaded areas.

Ownership of the condos at Las Palomas allows the owner to choose to enter the rental pool and actually make some extra cash by renting out their condo through the onsite rental company.   A great way to help pay for your dream vacation condo on the sea!
